Cloud Security for Indore Businesses That Set Up Their Own Accounts
Most cloud breaches are not clever. A storage bucket was left public, a developer's access key was committed to a code repository, an old administrator account still worked after the person left, or one password protected everything. Cloud security is the unglamorous work of closing those doors on the account you already have.
We begin with a read-only review. We ask for a view-only role, never your root login, and go through accounts, permissions, network rules, storage settings, encryption, logging and the keys your applications use. You receive a short written list of findings, ranked by how easily each could be abused and what it would cost you if it were, with a plan for the order of the fixes.
Then we do the fixes with your team, switch on logging and alerts so that new problems are noticed, and write down the rules your people follow afterwards. This page is about controls on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. A wider look at policy, vendors and people across the whole of your IT is a separate piece of work, which we cover under IT security consulting.
Who Needs Cloud Security?
Start-ups whose developers created the AWS or Azure account themselves and have been adding permissions ever since.
Companies that hold customer data, such as phone numbers, addresses or health details, and now have to think about the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Owners who cannot say who still has an administrator login to the cloud account, or whether a former employee does.
Teams that share one password or one access key between developers, contractors and automated scripts.
Businesses that were asked by a customer or a bank to show how their cloud data is protected.
Problems Cloud Security Solves
A storage bucket holding invoices or customer files can be read by anyone who guesses or finds its address.
Access keys sit in source code, chat messages and old laptops, and nobody remembers which of them are still live.
Every developer has full administrator rights because that was quicker than working out what each person needed.
Databases accept connections from the whole internet when only the application server needs to reach them.
Nobody would know if someone logged in from another country at night, because no log is kept or read.
What's Included
Account and permission review — every user, role, group and key listed, with unused and over-powered ones marked
Least-privilege roles — permissions rewritten so a person or an application can do its job and nothing more
Multi-factor sign-in — enforced for every human login, with the root or global administrator account locked away for emergencies
Network exposure check — open ports, public addresses and firewall rules compared with what each system really needs
Storage and database settings — public access blocked, encryption at rest turned on and connections limited to the application
Secrets handling — keys and passwords moved out of code and chat into a secrets manager, then rotated
Logging and alerts — sign-ins, permission changes and new public resources recorded and sent to a person who reads them
What You Gain
Each person and each application gets only the access its work needs, so one stolen password reaches less.
Customer files and databases stop being reachable by anyone who happens to find the address.
You get a short alert when an administrator logs in, a firewall rule is opened or a key is created, so odd activity is seen the same day.
A departing employee's access ends through a checklist and not through someone remembering.
When a customer or an auditor asks how data is protected, you can hand over a written answer with dates.

How We Work
Get a view-only role, not the keys
You create a read-only role for us. We never ask for your root login or your password, and the access is removed on the day the review ends.
Map what is exposed to the internet
We list every public address, open port, public storage location and web endpoint, and compare the list with what the business really needs to have public.
Rank the findings by what a thief could do
Each finding gets a plain note: how it could be abused, what would be lost and how long the fix takes. The list is kept short enough to act on.
Fix the top items alongside your developers
We change permissions and settings one item at a time with your developers and check that the application still works after each change.
Turn on logging and write the house rules
We switch on audit logs and alerts, then write a one-page set of rules for new accounts, keys, leavers and public resources, so the clean-up lasts.
Why Choose Hexaloop for Cloud Security
A review that cannot break anything
The first stage only reads settings through a view-only role. Nothing changes in your account until you have read the findings and approved each fix.
Findings for developers and for owners
Each finding is written twice: a technical line your developers can act on, and a plain sentence about what it means for the business.
Built by a software team in Indore
Because Hexaloop writes applications as well as hosting them, we can tell you which fix belongs in the cloud settings and which needs a change in the code.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you check our cloud security without being given our admin password?
Yes, and we prefer it that way. You create a view-only role for us, which lets us read settings and logs but not change anything or open your data. We never need the root login. When the review is over you delete the role and our access ends.
What does a cloud security review cost?
It depends on how many cloud accounts you have, how many services are in use and whether you want us to fix the findings or only list them. A small account with one application is a short piece of work, while several accounts shared by many teams take longer. We quote after a short call about your setup.
How long does a cloud security review take before we see results?
A small account is read through in a short time, and you receive the ranked list soon after. Fixing the findings depends on how many developers are free to test each change. We give a schedule once we know how many accounts and services are involved.
Will you be able to tell us if someone has already accessed our data?
We look for signs such as unfamiliar logins, new keys and odd network activity, but only where logging was switched on beforehand. If it was not, we cannot know what happened earlier, and we say so plainly. Nobody can promise a clean answer about the past.
Does keeping customer data in a cloud account affect our duties under the DPDP Act?
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act expects organisations that handle personal data to protect it with reasonable safeguards. Access control, encryption and logging are the technical part of that. We are a software company and not lawyers, so the legal reading is for your adviser, and we build the safeguards to the policy you set.
Is it enough to turn on multi-factor sign-in and call the account secure?
It closes the commonest hole, a stolen password, and every human login should have it. It does nothing about a public storage bucket, an access key in a code repository or an application with too many permissions, which is why the review looks at the whole account.
