Four ways to work with us

Different problems need different commercial structures. Pick the one that matches where your project actually is — or tell us the situation and we will recommend one.

Fixed-price project

Best for: Well-defined scope with a clear finish line

You get a written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date before work begins. Any change to scope is re-quoted and approved by you, so the invoice never drifts away from the estimate. This is how most websites, apps and first software releases are delivered.

  • Scope and price agreed up front
  • Milestone-based payment schedule
  • Estimation risk sits with us, not you
  • Best for websites, MVPs and defined builds

Dedicated team

Best for: Ongoing product work where scope evolves

A monthly-billed team assigned to your product — typically a mix of frontend, backend, mobile, QA and a project manager. You set the priorities each sprint and the team works only on your roadmap.

  • Monthly billing per allocated person
  • You control the backlog and priorities
  • Team composition can flex as needs change
  • Best for products under active development

Staff augmentation

Best for: An existing in-house team that needs capacity

Individual engineers, designers or DevOps specialists who join your existing team, use your tools and processes, and report through your leads. Useful for covering a skills gap or a delivery crunch without a permanent hire.

  • Individual specialists, not a whole team
  • Works inside your process and tooling
  • Monthly or quarterly commitments
  • Best for filling a specific skills gap

Support & maintenance retainer

Best for: A live system that needs to stay healthy

A monthly retainer covering updates, security patches, monitoring, bug fixes and small enhancements. Available for systems we built and for systems inherited from another vendor after an audit.

  • Agreed monthly hours and response times
  • Proactive monitoring and security updates
  • Available for inherited codebases too
  • Best for anything already in production

What happens next

From enquiry to kick-off in four steps

  1. 1

    Send us the brief

Use the form below, or email us. Rough notes are fine — you do not need a specification. Tell us the business problem, any deadline and a budget range if you have one.

  2. 2

    Discovery call within 24 hours

A 30-minute call with someone who would work on the project, not a salesperson. We ask about current systems, constraints and what success looks like.

  3. 3

    Written proposal

Scope, milestones, technology choices, team composition and price. If we think a smaller or different piece of work would serve you better, we say so in the proposal.

  4. 4

    Kick-off

Once approved, you get a named project manager, access to the staging environment and a shared tracker. Work starts within a week in most cases.

Hiring FAQs

How much does it cost to hire Hexaloop?

Websites typically start around ₹25,000, SEO retainers around ₹15,000 per month, mobile apps around ₹50,000 and custom software from ₹2,50,000. Dedicated team and staff augmentation engagements are quoted per person per month based on seniority and skill. Every engagement gets a fixed written quote before work begins.

How quickly can a team start?

For most engagements we can start within one to two weeks of a signed proposal. Where a specific senior specialist is required, allocation may take slightly longer — we tell you the realistic date in the proposal rather than promising an immediate start and then staffing late.

What is the minimum engagement size?

There is no hard minimum for fixed-price projects — small, well-defined pieces of work are welcome. Dedicated team and staff augmentation engagements generally start at one month, since anything shorter costs more in onboarding than it delivers in output.

Do we own the code and intellectual property?

Yes. All source code, design files, documentation and infrastructure accounts are yours. Ownership transfers as work is delivered, not withheld until final payment, and we do not retain control of client hosting or domains.

How do you handle confidentiality?

We sign an NDA before discovery whenever you want one, and can work within your own agreement rather than insisting on our template. Client work is not published as a case study without written permission.

Can you work in our timezone?

We operate on IST (UTC+5:30) and maintain overlap hours with European, UK and US-East schedules for standups and reviews. For US-West clients we agree a fixed overlap window at kick-off rather than leaving it to chance.

What if we already have a partly built project?

We start with a code and infrastructure audit and give you an honest assessment — what is usable, what needs rework and what it would realistically cost to finish. Taking over a half-built project is common work for us; the audit exists so neither side is guessing.

How do you communicate during a project?

A dedicated project manager, a shared tracker you can see at any time, a staging environment updated continuously, and a scheduled check-in at a cadence that suits you — usually weekly. You will not have to ask for a status update.
